The SCS Technique Lovers Challenge this week is the Acrylic Block Collage technique. Check out the instructions here. I used Memento Dew Drop ink pads to color my acrylic block, misted it with water and then stamped the colors onto PTI Vintage Cream card stock. I masked around the colors on the front of the card and stamped the script and silhouette images with a darker blue Memento ink. After removing the masking I stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts.

Happy Birthday To You
I combined the SCS CAS191 (use plaid) and the TLC398 (use dimension) challenges to create this card. The patterned paper is from The Paper Loft and all other paper is from PaperTrey. I used a Cuttlebug Argyle embossing folder, twine, a button and a Nestability to create the circle for the sentiment (also from PaperTrey).

A Gift For You
This week's Technique Lovers Challenge at SCS is paper piecing - one of my favorite techniques. This image was a bit challenging - the dress and the paper dolls were paper pieced. The patterned paper is My Minds Eye - Indie Collection. The sketch is the latest I Spy Sketch challenge but I reversed the sketch unintentionally.

C Is For Cat
This is for a few challenges - trying to catch up here and they all seemed to fit nicely together. The OLW81 challenge was a cream colored card with only black ink and a bit of bling. The TLC367 One Color/No Color was to use one color of ink on our card and not to color in the image (and use line art stamps). CAS160 is to use a monogram. And our FS265 is Little Sea Otter (Kecia) and she had some swap cards for an alphabet inchie swap so I cased her O is For Otter Inchie.
The frame and the letter 'C' are from PaperTrey. The sentiment and image are from Penny Black. I added a little silver pearl for the exclamation point dot for the little bit of bling.

Friends
I made this for 2 challenges - CAS151 (beverages) and TLC358 (make it wet). I used this cute image Cup of Cocoa image from Sweet 'N Sassy stamps and colored it with Copic Markers. I used Lace Stickles on the snowflakes.

Woodware USA Challenge #40 - New Technique
Welcome to WoodwareUSA's challenge #40 - to use a new technique. I have never done the spotlight technique before and it really is so easy - but I tend to shy away from techniques. I followed the instructions on SCS - you can find them here. I used this cute image from WoodwareUSA's Mary and Friends set and this sketch is this week Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 131. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey.
Now it's your turn to play - just create a new project using a new to you technique and link it directly to InLinkz on the WoodwareUSA blog for a chance to win a stamp set. If you use WoodwareUSA stamps you will be entered twice for a chance to win! And for more inspiration please check out what the other designers created while you are at the WoodwareUSA blog!
