It's Your Day
I wanted to play along with the Mix It Up Challenge on Ellen Hutson's The Classroom blog. The challenge is to use products from Essentials by Ellen and from Avery Elle. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Avery Elle and the rest of the stamped images are from Essentials by Ellen. I used the colors from the SCS color challenge for this week.

One Layer Celebrate!
The Less Is More challenge is to create a one layer card and to include an animal. The SCS technique challenge was to create a mirrored image. The bunny on the right is the Avery Elle image as designed and the one on the left is the mirrored image. I inked up the bunny image and stamped it onto the back of a larger acrylic stamp, then stamped that image onto the card stock. I did use a fine tip black marker to darken some of the lines of the mirrored image. The image was colored with Copic markers. The sentiment is from Essentials by Ellen. I colored the balloon with my clear Wink of Stella glitter brush pen.
I am also submitting this to the AAA card challenge:
and to Simply Create Too: Easter or Bunnies

With Sympathy
Unfortunately I needed to make a sympathy card. My good friend Jan's mother passed away over the weekend. It happened at the best time possible for Jan as she was surrounded by her loving sisterhood group at our annual retreat.
Jan's favorite color is purple/lavender and today's SCS color challenge was to use Blackberry Bliss, Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz. I substituted with Seedless Preserve Distress marker, Pool Party marker and Memento Pear Tart marker and water colored with them. The flowers and butterfly are from Hero Arts and the sentiment is from Avery Elle.
I will submit this card to the Hero Arts challenge - Nature.

For You
This was created for the SCS Queen for the Day challenge and for the Featured Stamper challenge. I stamped the Penny Black poppy image with Antique Linen distress ink and then watercolored the poppies with the wet on wet technique. I used watercolor pencils for the stems and buds. The sentiment is from Avery Elle.
I am submitting this to Crazy for CAS challenge #51 - Watercoloring.

Some Watercolored Cards
This was created for the SCS color challenge this week. I used the Art Impressions set with Distress markers and paint brushes.
This card was also created for the SCS CAS color challenge. I used this 4 step stamp set from Rubbernecker and colored the stamps with Hero Arts Shadow inks and Distress Inks, misted them with water, then stamped. I used my scor-pal to create embossed sunrays and ran an ink pad over them.
This last card is a case of the SCS Featured Stamper's card. I used my watercolor paints with the wet on wet technique. The flowers are from Hero Arts and the sentiment is from Avery Elle. I added clear rhinestones as embellishments.

Celebrate Your Day
SCS Color Challenge: coral, old olive and daffodil;
CAS(E) This Sketch 83:
When I saw this sketch I thought about this Avery Elle set I just got. The banner and the sentiment are from Winnie & Walter. I used the SU! markers directly to the flowers and leaves, misted with water and stamped them onto watercolor paper. I stamped the banner and sentiment with Memento ink and hand cut out the banner.

Oh Happy Day!
Welcome to ATCAS #40 hosted by our fabulous hostess Karen and who selected the code word: TRANSPORT for us.
Our guest designer for the month of June is Karen from Snippets! Karen is an outstanding CAS stamper so I know we are all in for a treat this month! Welcome Karen!
We have StampArt Designs by Kathryne as our sponsor again. Please check out the Addicted to CAS challenge blog for more information about the prize. While you're there check out the samples from the ATCAS design team - lots of inspiration there!
I used the Freshly Made Sketch for my card layout and was inspired by the Runway Inspired Challenge:
I am submitting this to the CAS-ual Fridays challenge - What a Catch (masculine card, no kraft and use a ribbon)
and to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Fathers Day/Masculine cards.
