Some Watercolored Cards

This was created for the SCS color challenge this week.  I used the Art Impressions set with Distress markers and paint brushes.

This was for the CAS SCS challenge - also a color challenge.  I used the Baleek technique on the card front - brayered Certainly Celery on the inside of the embossing folder, then ran the card front in the folder through the Big Shot.  This card has an oval window already cut out.  The inside is the water colored flowers.

This card was also created for the SCS CAS color challenge.  I used this 4 step stamp set from Rubbernecker and colored the stamps with Hero Arts Shadow inks and Distress Inks, misted them with water, then stamped.  I used my scor-pal to create embossed sunrays and ran an ink pad over them.

This last card is a case of the SCS Featured Stamper's card.  I used my watercolor paints with the wet on wet technique.  The flowers are from Hero Arts and the sentiment is from Avery Elle.  I added clear rhinestones as embellishments.

Dare To Get Dirty

I finally got some time to stamp this evening.  This card was created for two of the SCS Dare to Get Dirty challenges.  I used the Craft's Meow Hope Blooms stamp set and new to me Pastel Watercolor Crayons.  I like the colors of these crayons.
I am hoping to combine challenges as I make cards and get all of the challenges done.

Just a Little Note

This is for the Freshly Made Sketches 39:
I have been in Iowa and now Minnesota stamping with my Yahoo Stamping group friends.  This is our 6th year that we have gotten together to stamp, eat, laugh, have fun, shop, laugh, eat.... Anyway, I had created this tri-fold card while in Iowa, using a friend's embossing folder and left it blank to do something with it later.  Well I thought it was perfect for the FMS39.  I added the scallop and plain circles and the cut and embossed Spellbinders bird and branch that I found in my  friend Lynette's card parts box. The sentiment is from a Technique Tuesday stamp set.

Flutter By Wednesday #155 - Sketch by Carly#31

Welcome to Flutter By Wednesday #155. Today we have a sketch challenge - provided by Carly:

Here is my take on the sketch:
I used a new to me image called Butterfly Kisses from the Craft's Meow.  I did change up the sketch a bit to accommodate the image.  The boxes on the bottom of the sketch reminded me of a woven ribbon so  I used my Ribbon Border Punch from Fiskars and weaved the Scarlet Jewel Swiss Dotted ribbon through.
Now it is your turn to play - just create a card based on Carly's sketch and link it directly to InLinkz on the Flutter By Wednesday blog.  Don't forget to include a butterfly, fairy or an angel!
Thanks for coming by!
Supplies: Stamps - The Craft's Meow; Paper - PaperTrey; Ink - Versafine Onyx Black, Scarlet Jewel; Misc - Ink blender sponge, Fiskars border punch, Ribbon, Cuttlebug embossing folder
