Happy Birthday
Another card for my Online Card Class - CAS3 homework. This is a case of a card that Debby Hughes created for Textural Effects - this is using embossing paste and a stencil. The Hero Arts butterfly was stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white detailed embossing powder. I then cut the butterfly mask with the companion die and placed it over the butterfly. I stamped the Hero Arts sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black and then placed the Simon Says Stamp Falling Hearts stencil over the card front. I applied Dreamweaver Embossing Paste over the stencil and carefully removed the stencil. When the paste was dry I colored the butterfly with Copic markers using the colors from the Dynamic Duos Color Challenge
I added 3 small heart sequins around the sentiment which I thought gave the design more balance.
I am also submitting this card to the Moxie Fab World - Stencils and Card Concept - Birthday.
I'm not sure which category to place my card - I think it might be Clean and Layered due to the embossing paste over most of the card.
Thanks for coming by!

Welcome to Flutter By Wednesday #254 - we have a sketch challenge for you created by our Flutterby Kathy:
Don't forget to include a butterfly or a fairy in your project. There will be a prize up for grabs if we have over 100 entries!! So link up your project to the Flutter By Wednesday blog and check out the samples by the FBW DT while you are there!
I used the colors for the Dynamic Duos challenge:
The fairy image is from Layers of Color (no longer in business). All papers and the border die are from PaperTrey. The ovals were created with Spellbinders Nestabilities.

FBW250 - Shaped Cards And DD67
Welcome to Flutter By Wednesday 250!! This week's challenge is to create a shaped card - and to include a butterfly or fairy. Wait until you see what the FBW DT created over at the FBW challenge blog!
I used my Spellbinders Butterfly Nestabilities to create this Easel card. I followed the directions on Splitcoast Stampers using a Butterfly Die instead of a rectangle. The card base was cut from a 4" square folded card. All papers are from PaperTrey.
Here is a front view:
And here is a view with the card folded and ready to be mailed:
I also created this to submit to the Dynamic Duos challenge:
Don't forget to go to the FBW challenge blog to upload your shaped card!

Congrats on Your New Home
This is for the current Dynamic Duos challenge:

Friendship
This was created for one of the DTGD challenges on SCS and using this week's Dynamic Duos challenge colors:
I used the blackboard technique for the sentiment panel and the flowers were created with the Cuttlebug Asterisk dies.

Birthday Wishes
I had a busy weekend but did find some time to play. I made this card for a few challenges: CAS(E) This Sketch:
Dynamic Duos:
The circular frame is a Marianne Designs die and the bird is Memory Box Perching Reed die. I cut the bird from some MME polka dotted paper. The banner is PaperTrey's Double Ended Banner die and the sentiment is also from PaperTrey. I added a pearl for the bird's eye and a few pink pearls to embellish.

Cutie Patootie
I created this for the Dynamic Duos #54 Light Blue and Navy:
I cut the onesie with a PaperTrey die out of PTI patterned paper. I then used Night of Navy ink to stamp the onsie outline image and the little rabbit image. The sentiment was also stamped with Night of navy ink. All papers and accessories are from PaperTrey with the exception of the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder.

Miss You
I feel like I am playing hooky since I made this card instead of making a card for my card class homework! I played in two more challenges:
The Dynamic Duos and Fusion:
I took the colors (they look a bit off in my photo) obviously from the Dynamic Duo challenge but also from the Fusion photo - Lesley's challenge. I used Jackie's sketch so I created a Fusion between the two!
The papers I used are from MME. The bird is a WPlus9 die cut and the branch is a part of a Memory Box die cut. I adhered the bird with a foam square and placed a blue rhinestone in the eye. The sentiment is from MFT's Pretty Poppies set and is inked in Chocolate Chip.
